Spring is always a beautiful time of year in the Pacific Northwest. The grey of the long winter months only pops out from time to time leaving us with a beautiful light blue set against the deep greens of Washington. That also means that on some weeks, even on the same day. In most systems, whether you have a gas or electric furnace paired with either a heat pump or air conditioner it is just the push of a button to switch from one to the other.
In the spring and fall, it is a great time to have your annual maintenance done. Since both aspects of your HVAC system are up and running, it makes it easier to make sure that everything is functioning the way it is supposed to and in the manufacturer’s recommendations. If there is a problem with your system, it is a great time on the off chance you have to wait a day or two for parts. It really is just a nice way to make sure that there is less of a chance for something to break down in the next few months.
